THE chairman of South Gloucestershire Council will continue in the role for another year.
Cllr Erica Williams (Con, Bitton) was elected for a second role in office at the authority’s annual meeting on Wednesday (May 18).
Cllr Ian Blair (Lib Dem, Yate) was elected as vice-chairman.
They were both sworn in during an official ceremony at Kingswood Civic Centre.
Cllr Williams will continue to raise money for her chosen charities which include the Avon Valley Railway in Bitton and the Wild Place Project at Cribbs Causeway.
