FUNDS raised by a hotel in Falfield last year through special events and guest donations have been presented to a chosen Bristol charity.
The Gables Hotel in Falfield held a number of events across 2015 to fundraise, including summer and Christmas flower arranging days, musical tribute evenings and party nights, as well as fundraising through customer collection boxes around the hotel.
The hotel chose charity St Peter’s Hospice as their beneficiary for 2015, with Andrew Ibbotson, general manager at The Gables presenting Caroline Booth Morris, corporate fundraiser for St Peter’s Hospice, with a cheque for £459, raised throughout last year.
He said: “We are delighted to have been able to help St Peter’s Hospice as their vital work makes a real difference to the lives of many local people.”
He added: “We would like to give a special thank you to our customers who donated generously to our fund during the year.”
