Review of Helen Wood’s one-woman show at the Sub Rooms.
WHAT Kind of Fool am I?, the one-woman show by local actor Helen Wood, was a complete delight; funny, entertaining and thought-provoking all at once.
With an engaging lightness of touch, Helen humorously wove her own life story with its confusions, triumphs, wrong turnings and dead ends, through the fascinating area of personality types and her love of people watching.
The audience were entranced by Helen’s seemingly endless supply of props, from a life-sized Labrador to a tiny puppet of Freud, and the gradual revelation of the nine personalities of the enneagram.
A wonderful and engaging hour of original entertainment.
