THE Festival Players have just embarked on their annual summer tour of outdoor Shakespeare performances.
And on Saturday, July 9 the all-male troupe is heading for The Hyde in Prestbury, where they will perform The Bard’s famous tragedy, Hamlet, at 7.30pm..
Presented in full costume, the Players will bring the excitement of this great thriller: intrigue, ghostly visitations, passion, a play-within-a-play, a gripping duel, and humour, in a crystal-clear and fast-paced two-hour production.
The performance starts at 7.30pm, but the grounds will be open from 5.30pm for picnics.
Bring seating, all-weather clothing and a picnic to enjoy at this outdoor production under the summer skies.
Tickets cost £15, or £10 concessions.
Tickets are available from 01242 674992 or email: sue.snape@snapegroup.co.uk
