POLICE in Gloucestershire are appealing for witnesses to a collision which hospitalised two elderly pedestrians.
A blue Toyota Yaris was travelling towards Westbury-on-Severn on the A48 at about 4.20pm when the car collided with two elderly pedestrians crossing the road at Walmore Hill in Minsterworth last Friday.
One pedestrian suffered serious hip and leg injuries and is currently in a serious but stable condition at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. The other pedestrian was taken to hospital with a broken ankle but has since been discharged.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or the car being driven prior to the incident should call 101 and quote incident 368 of 8 July.
