SLIMMING World members from across South Gloucestershire came together in Yate on Saturday (July 16) to raise money for charity and get fit.
Slimmers from groups in Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Thornbury and Nailsworth took part a Race for Life event in aid of Cancer Research UK at Yate International Academy.
The fun run raised over £714 with more sponsorship money still being received.
Organiser and Slimming World regional co-ordinator Bonny Mills said: “A huge thank you to Bridgette Dervishi from the Chipping Sodbury group who raised over £150 and to Alison Griffiths from the Yate Saturday morning group who raised over £170.
“We had members attend from Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Thornbury and Nailsworth plus some of my fabulous consultants-- Becky Williams, Allison Pakeman, Shell Roberts and Kelly Gill - came along too.”
