FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a blaze at a house in Yate.
Six fire engines are on the scene in Edgeworth where a terraced house is still alight.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the whole property had been affected by the loft of the house and adjoining properties had suffered smoke damage.
No-one was in the house at the time but all residents were accounted for.
Fire service spokesman James Bladon said they had received around 10 calls reporting the blaze just before 10am this morning.
He added: "At the moment six fire engines are there and four breathing apparatus are in use. It looks like the fire has involved the whole property, on the ground floor and the roof as well.
"Crews are still using hose reel jets to tackle the fire."
He said all people had been accounted for.
Investigations are yet to take place about how the fire started.
