FIRE crews from Dursley were called to tackle a forklift fire at Sharpness Docks yesterday evening.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a warehouse at Severn Distribution Park in Sharpness at 7.30pm on Monday.
Two crews from Dursley tackled the forklift fire using a jet, two hosereels, breathing apparatus and a ground monitor.
They also had to cool down the liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cannister to prevent more damage occuring.
A third engine was called from Wotton-under-Edge, but stood down after five minutes.
Crews were on scene until 9.35pm.
