A 60-YEAR-OLD man from Yate has been remanded in custody after he was charged with attempted murder.
Stephen Hacker, of Colesborne Close, Yate, appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 3.
Hacker will appear at Bristol Crown Court for trial, where he will make his plea, on Friday, September 30.
It follows an incident at the Railway Inn, Station Road, in the early hours of Friday, September 2, which police said left a 35-year-old man with "serious throat injuries".
An Avon and Somerset Police police spokesman said the 35-year-old was not in a life-threatening condition.
"If you have information which could help us, please call North East Investigations on 101," he said.
“You will need to give the call handler the reference 5216194963."
