SHEEP will race through Frampton-on-Severn as part of a family fun day this Saturday.
The event will be held in the stunning surroundings of Frampton Court with a flock of sheep, a large marquee and live music for all the family.
Following the success of the previous three years, sheep racing is back by popular demand.
Featuring eight sheep races, a barbecue, bar, tote, bouncy castles and live music, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Each race is donated to a Gloucestershire charity or organisation at the event founded and organised by a group of dedicated villagers from Frampton-on-Severn.
The day brings together communities, raising several thousand pounds for causes along the way.
On the day, punters can place bets on their favourite sheep at the tote, then cheer them on as they jump hurdles and head for the final furlong.
Entry and parking is free. Gates open from 2.00pm, with the first race starting off at 3.00pm.
Pedestrian access is available via Fitcherbury and The Green only, with vehicle access signposted off the Perry Way.
