DO YOU remember where you were on November 26, 2003 when Concorde took to the skies for the final time?
Aerospace Bristol, the group behind the new home for Concorde which opens in the summer, want to hear as many stories as possible, whether the iconic plane was seen over the Clifton Suspension Bridge, or in Filton for the final touchdown.
The group are also appealing for residents to offer a little extra Christmas cheer by making a donation for the final push to make long-held dream a reality.
Iain Gray, chairman of Aerospace Bristol, said: “Like many Bristolians, I have always been proud of Concorde and the achievements of all those that have worked, often their entire careers, in the aerospace industry.
“We want to celebrate the innovation and endeavour of those generations who went before us but also, look forward, to inspire the imagination our young people through our learning and activity programme and to consider careers in our aviation industry.
“Creating a fitting new home for Concorde can only happen with the support of Concorde friends and admirers.
“We are asking everyone who remembers Concorde’s final flight, and shares our aim of keeping the spirit of Concorde alive, to please come on board by making a donation today. Your contribution will truly make a difference.”

Donations of £10 or more will receive a small thank you gift.
