A CAT called Betty has been successfully rescued after she climbed up a power line in Cam and could not get down.
The power line pole, which is roughly 30ft high, is in The Drive, Cam.
Fire crews were now on the scene of the incident to rescue Betty after several hours on her precarious perch.
They climbed a ladder to retrieve the fearless feline, who is now back home safely with her owner.
Neighbours had contacted the RSPCA for advice, who were also on the scene as fire crews set up a tarpaulin to prevent any cat-astrophe.
There were lots of comments left on social media from concerned residents.
Ashley Winkworth said: "My grandparents live opposite the summerhaye, we see Betsy quite a lot, she's always getting into trouble but I didn't expect she'd manage that!"
Brendan O'neill said: "If they don't hurry up it will be a news flash!"
Kerri Davies Betty, said: "She does this a lot and usually comes down, her owners are aware and are on the case."
