A DURSLEY motorist was banned from driving after he was stopped in the town and found to have excess alcohol.
Oliver Robson, 25, of Woodfield Road, Dursley, was driving his VW Golf on Henlow Drive on December 19 when he was stopped by police, Cheltenham magistrates heard on January 12.
He was found to have 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Robson also admitted driving without insurance or an MOT certificate.
He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85.
