HAVE you ever wondered how salt and vinegar crisps get their flavouring?
Do you have any idea what the next trend-setting ingredients are going to be on our supermarket shelves? Do you recognise the importance of smell when we are selecting foods?
These are just some of the topics covered by our February speaker Nick Eskins from local company Taste Connections who are experts in food flavourings, utilising natural products to bring together combinations of ingredients which then provide the finished flavours of many of the items we buy.
Ingredients are globally sourced to ensure that the very best standards are upheld, with quality being of utmost importance.
Many big-name retailers employ Taste Connections to bring together their exact requirements and the evening was voted a success by our members.
In March we will be welcoming Lady Sally MacFadyen, who will be providing a talk on ‘Life at Windsor Castle’, which looks certain to be a very interesting evening.

Visitors and new members are always welcome to come along to our meetings.
