WHAT a treat we had at our get together this time.
Francis Mallon musician and cast member of The Crescent Theatre Company in Birmingham entertained us for the afternoon with music from most decades including Herman Hermits (remember him) to Doris Days que sera sera, interspersed with stories and anecdotes of his life.
We finalised our trip to the theatre to see Dreamboats and Petticoats in Cheltenham and asked members where they wanted to go on our trips in the summer, one suggestion was the Royal Mint, we thought that would be good.
Next time we have Nadine Carr of Aunt Martha tea rooms.
New members welcome, come and join us, no strangers here just friends you may not have met yet.
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at St James Parish Centre, Dursley at 2pm. For more information call Barbara Weldon at Extend for You (Movement to Music for the over 60’s) on 01453 766421.
