GLOUCESTERSHIRE West Division Trefoil Guild enjoyed a talk by Gordon Craig on confectionery at their March meeting, the highlight being the tasting of dark, milk, white and flaked chocolate.
Did you know that in the UK £5.4 billion was spent on confectionary last year?
The April meeting falls on Maundy Thursday so it has been decided to have a morning meeting as well as the evening meeting to enable members to enjoy their monthly Trefoil Guild meeting and attend their various churches services.
Both meetings will be crafty sessions led by Ann King and Marion Paisey helped along by cakes and coffee. The Trefoil Guild meets on the second Thursday of every month, 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at Sharpness Scout and Guide Hut.
Anyone who has been a member of Girlguiding or is prepared to make the Guide Promise is welcome to join. For more information contact Sarah Norton, 01453 521905.
