A STROUD-BASED condiment and porridge company has appointed a new sales executive to its tight-knit team.

Fresh off the heels of the appointment of two new directors, Kitchen Garden Foods based in the Salmon Springs Trading Estate – have brought in Tom Hughes as their sales executive.

Founded in 1989, Kitchen Garden are artisan producers of premium jams, chutneys, marmalades & condiments.

Commercial director James Horwood said: “Our business grew again this year and continues to go from strength to strength.

“I’m really pleased to have Tom on board to help us grow further.

“His entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding customer relation skills means he’s a great fit for the role.

“He’s also a foodie, just like us, which really helps.”

Tom added: “I’m really excited to be joining the Kitchen Garden sales team.

“I love the products and branding, the company has strong ethics which mean a lot to me.

“I’m looking forward to meeting new people and helping grow the business further.”

Tom will work full-time as the main scout for new business opportunities and ways to keep customers coming back for more.

With over 50 awards under their belt, the company has become a household name in the Cotswolds and are a well-established Stroud favourite.

In 2013 it launched Wolfy’s Porridge – instant porridge pots each containing a little pot of jam or marmalade tucked under the lid.
