THE clubs new president Jeff Martin gave members a brief account of his background as a civil engineer.
He had, amongst other things, been involved in motorway design and construction in the UK before spending 12 years in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar working on villa construction, road building, sewage treatment and golf course projects.
He and his wife Anne moved to Cam a few years ago to be closer to their children and grandchildren in Bristol, Cheltenham and south-east Wales.
He is looking forward to his year as president and working with the management team to make the club grow and be fun for all.
Any retired gentlemen who would like to see what the club does are welcome to attend a meeting at Dursley community centre in Rednock Drive at 10am on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month or call Jeff on 07434 525629.
