A DIRECTOR and joint-owner of Eastwood Park in Falfield has announced her retirement after 27-years running the highly successful venue.
Already a familiar face to the business, having run the hotel services for many years, Lin Willis was part of a management buyout in 2003 and assumed the role of facilities director on the board.
A popular venue across the wider South Gloucestershire area for country house weddings and business functions, Eastwood Park has also enjoyed a long association with the National Health Service, having been the national NHS Hospital Engineering training centre, where all hospital engineers were trained.
John Thatcher, joint owner and CEO, said that he was pleased Ms Willis would continue to contribute to the development of the business, assuming the role of a non-executive director.
He said: “Business growth and diversity over the last 14 years, has meant Lin’s focus has been on all aspects of maintaining and running a large 200-acre estate and its training facilities 24/7, including looking after its tenants.”
