GLOUCESTER will play French giants Stade Francais in the European Challenge Cup final on May 12 in Ednburgh after the chance of a dream final against West Country rivals Bath collapse on Sunday afternoon.
Bath put in an heroic effort to beat the French team in Paris and were ahead going into the last minutes.
Stade leveled and went ahead with ninety seconds to go.
Bath went for a short kick from the re-start and earned a penalty but England fly-half George Ford missed the shot at goal and the full-time whistle arrived.
