Yate pharmacy offering free blood pressure screening in May
A PHARMACY in Yate is offering people a free blood pressure check next month in order to raise awareness of the effects of hypertension.
Abbotswood Pharmacy are inviting people to pop into their store in May as a part of one of the biggest public screening programs in the world, May Measurement Month 2017 (MMM17).
The international drive hopes to put a spotlight on the importance of monitoring blood pressure and aims to screen 25 million people across the world.
Visitors to Abbotswood Pharmacy in May will be able to receive a free blood pressure screening in addition to lifestyle advice and support.
Those wishing to receive a check are invited to drop in to the store during normal opening hours (9am–1pm, 2–6pm).
