MISSING nursing student Anna Lewis has been found safe and well.
The 27-year-old woman from Bristol walked into a police station in North Devon this afternoon following five days of appeals for information about her whereabouts.
Police have confirmed that her family have since been informed.
Anna, who lives in Fishponds and is a student nurse at UWE Bristol, went missing two weeks ago.
She was captured on CCTV leaving Southmead Hospital at 12.15am on Thursday, April 13.
Police believe that she left the hospital grounds at just before 1pm and headed towards Avon Way and Kingsholm Road.
Officers working on the investigation to find the nursing student had been looking into reports of possible sightings in Gloucestershire before she was found.
Around 20 reports of sightings were given to officers following an appeal by Avon and Somerset.
The police have since thanked members of the public and media for sharing their appeal to find Anna.
