A 60-YEAR-OLD Dursley motorist was found to be more than twice over the legal drink-drive limit when he was stopped by police, a court heard.
Philip Pritchard of First Avenue, Dursley was stopped in his Ford Kuga on April 16 in Highfields Approach.
He had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
At a hearing on May 4, Cheltenham magistrates banned Pritchard, who admitted the offence, from driving for 19 months and fined him £120.
They also ordered him to pay £45 towards prosecution costs.
