LAST night the Little George hosted the first hustings of this general election campaign in Stroud town, but there are plenty more over the next few weeks across the district.

On Monday, May 22 at 2pm, students at SGS College will get a chance to quiz the candidates.

Also on May 22, a Cotswolds constituency hustings will take place at Wotton Baptist church from 7.30pm, questions can be submitted by email to wottonhustings@gmail.com.

At Dursley Tabernacle URC Church there will be a public hustings on Thursday, May 25 at 7.30pm, it has been organised by Churches Together but it is open to everyone.

A youth hustings will be on Friday, May 26 from 7pm at Lansdown Hall, Stroud, this will be open to 18 to 25 year olds.

On Weds 31st May 7pm, the Prince Albert on Rodborough Hill, Stroud will host their own event.

A church hustings will take place at the Stroud Baptist Church on Thursday, June 1 at 7pm, organised by Churches Together it will have more of a focus on faith and it's relation to politics.

Stroud Subscription Rooms will be the venue for a hustings on Monday, June 5 at 7pm.
