KING’S STANLEY U14S ended a memorable season with a narrow cup final defeat against Ashley Down.
A thriller at The Gloucestershire Football Association's Oakland Park headquarters at Almondsbury, finished all square at 1-1 after top scorer Jack Pegler netted parity for the Bluebells. The game went straight into a penalty shoot-out with Ashley Down winning 4-3 on pens.
Managed by Nick Rieger, the squad enjoyed a season to remember - winning the Severn Valley Youth Football League Central Division with 15 wins and a draw.
