Car hits a lamp post which then hits a block of flats in South Gloucestershire
EMERGENCY services were called after a car hit a lamp post which then hit the second floor balcony of a block of flats.
The road traffic collision took place on Savages Wood Road in Bradley Stoke yesterday evening.
A fire crew from Patchway were called to the scene at around 11.53pm, where they worked alongside police to recover the car, make it safe and isolate the power supply to the lamp post.
Repairs to the lamp post were later undertaken by the local authority.
