FOR most people, it's too early in the year to be thinking about Christmas.
However a church in Chipping Sodbury is already on the hunt for nativity displays.
St John the Baptist Church are in the midst of planning their Nativity Crib Festival 2017, which will take place from November 27 to December 3.
They are now asking for people to loan crib displays for the week of this year’s festival.
Steve Kerner, publicity co-ordinator for the church, said: “We always welcome new cribs, but also welcome ones that we have seen before.
“If you have one, or know someone who has, please may we borrow it? We promise to take great care of it.
"In previous years, we have been able to display over 150 crib scenes, some made by local schools and toddler groups and some from around the world."
If you have a nativity display that you can lend to the church, please contact Steve Kerner at steve.kerner@btinternet.com.
