Property News: An extra bathroom could add £12k to your home
PUTTING in an extra bathroom could add £12,000 to the value of your home.
Research from Direct Line Home Insurance shows that 70 per of estate agents believe an extra bathroom can help to sell a home.
They say an extra bathroom adds 6.8 per cent to the value of a three bedroom home – £12,000 on average – and 6.2 per cent to the value of a four bedroom home – £17,000 on average.
