New charity furniture shop set to open in Cam
A NEW charity furniture shop will be opening in Cam on Monday, supporting the work of an animal rescue centre.
Cambridge-based Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home will open its newest shop at the former Mitsubishi Motors site in Draycott on Monday.
Karen Roberts, shop manager, said: “It is fantastic to be able to open a shop so close to our charity’s new re-homing centre and it’s great to provide the community with the first charity furniture shop in the area.”
The charity opened its new £4million rehoming centre in Cambridge last year.
