THIS week is National Small Charity week - and to celebrate, we ran a Big Advice Day for other charities and not-for-profit organisations yesterday.
The Door will use funds raised through the campaign to purchase a new laptop for their Community Youthwork Coordinator in Dursley Their campaign will match donations pound-for-pound up to £25.
Small Charity Week has been running since it was founded by the Foundation for Social Improvement in 2010, and throughout the week there are opportunities for small charities to increase their profile, recruit volunteers, lobby politicians, raise funds and celebrate their work.
The Big Advice Day will be a focal point in Stroud district as it brings together charities and organisations from across the county. Charity leaders and trustees will attend the morning to enjoy pastries and to meet and network together.
