Collision between car and motorbike leaves key A46 junction between Dursley, Nailsworth and Tetbury partially blocked
A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a sports car at a junction between Dursley, Nailsworth and Tetbury.
Police were called to the incident shortly before 1pm today near the A46 and A4135 junction, which was left partially blocked.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Southmead Hospital and the extent of his injuries are not yet known.
He had collided with a red Alfa Romeo 4C, the driver of which is not believed to have been injured.
Traffic is very slow in the area as a result and motorists are advised to alter their journeys accordingly.
