A VAN driver and cyclist have escaped without 'life-threatening injuries' after a collision on the B4058 before the winding descent into Wotton.
The incident occurred at 4.10pm on the B4058 near Old London Road and the Cotswold Golf Club and involved a Mercedes Sprinter 313 van and a bike.
A police spokesman told the Gazette: "The cyclist, a 53-year-old man, suffered arm injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol, the driver of the car, a 77-year-old-man, was not injured."
The collision had caused traffic to build up between Wotton-under-Edge and Dursley.
This section of road proceeds a sharp winding descent into the town.
