A LOVELY day in June was chosen for the Guild’s annual outing, when we visited the National Trust property at Dyrham Park.

There were 13 members and we met for coffee on arrival. We made our way to the restaurant using the run around bus, as it was quite a way for one to walk, although very pleasant and down hill.

Some of us joined a group on a tour of the gardens which were amazing. Plenty of colour, shrubs and trees (some unknown).

We met for a nice lunch to be able to chat over what we had seen and done.

As they say, all good things come to an end and it was time to make our way back on the bus to the car park after a lovely day was enjoyed by all.

We meet on the last Tuesday of the month 2pm-4pm in the Armstrong Hall.

A local attraction, well worth a visit.
