POOR weather did not deter hundreds of people from turning out for Saturday's carnival in Dursley.
Kicked off in the morning by Charles Berkeley, the carnival also saw a procession through the town centre for the first time in a number of years.
Live music and entertainment was hosted at the recreational ground with hundreds attending on the day.
