Friends of Chipping Sodbury Library alongside members of the public who want the facility to remain open
A MEETING to discuss the future of Chipping Sodbury Library is taking place tonight.
The facility was set to close under council budget cuts but can now stay open on the condition that it is run by members of the community.
Friends of Chipping Sodbury Library have since been on a recruitment drive to attract volunteers to work at the library from October.
Dozens have already signed up, but more are needed to ensure that the Library can stay operating at its current standard.
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer is invited to attend a meeting at the Town Council Offices at 7.30pm tonight.
