ARTWORK by GCSE and A-level students at Stroud High School went on public display recently.

Art teacher Sarah Torr said: “The hard work that the pupils had put into these projects throughout the year was clear for all to see.

“Notable pieces included Sophia Macadam’s expressive paintings and Florence Pond’s photorealism paintings.

“Other great work included Georgia Kemps screen printing inspired by Local artists Andy Lovell intricate paper cutting, sculptural piece, numerous paintings and much more.

“This year “We had 400 votes and the winners were as follows: the KS4 Fine Art winner was Scarlett Bennett, KS4 Photography Winner – Abbie Wade. KS5 Fine Art winner Natasha Holding and KS5 Photography winner was Amelia King.

A special mention to Waitrose in Stroud who provided all the refreshments for our Private View.
