A MAN suffered a broken finger and cuts to the head following a robbery in Stroud over the weekend.
The 31-year-old victim was walking through Stratford Park between 1.30am and 3am on Saturday (July 15) when the incident happened.
Around two or three males, around 5ft 10ins-6ft tall, were involved in the attack.
The victim was hit twice with an object, once on the hand and once on the back of the head.
He suffered a broken finger and cut to the head from the assault and was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for his injuries.
The victim's Marvel rucksack containing keys, sunglasses and a red hoodie was then taken.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101 and quote incident number 67 of Saturday, July 15.
