A 30-YEAR-OLD Cam man has been banned from driving after being found to be more than twice the legal limit in Stonehouse.
Alex Davis of St Bartholomew’s Close, Cam, admitted driving with excess alcohol when he appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on July 13.
He was stopped in Ryelands Road, Stonehouse in his Peugeot Expert van on June 29 and breathalysed, the court heard.
Davis was found to have 86 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs.
