A 21-YEAR-OLD man from Frampton Cotterell has appeared before court charged with assault, criminal damage and driving offences.

Aaron Hodge, of Park Lane, Frampton Cotterell, was arrested last Wednesday at around 3.30pm, when officers and a police dog unit were dispatched to his home address.

He was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and criminal damage in Downend on August 2.

Hodge was later charged with assault, criminal damage and driving both while disqualified and without insurance.

He appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was remanded on bail until September 28, when he is set to appear again before Bristol Magistrate’s Court.
