Vandals attempt to set fire to slide in Yate play area
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a play area in Yate last night after vandals attempted to set fire to play equipment.
A crew from Yate Fire Station was dispatched at 8.33pm to Sundridge Park, after reports of a small fire in the play area.
On arrival the crew found that the attempted fire on the slide had been put out.
It is believed that the fire was started deliberately.
