THE following planning applications were registered with Stroud District Council between 09.10.17 and 15.10.17.

Berkeley: Neals Barn, Breadstone, the barn had planning for a holiday let in 1987 (s.15173), however, it has been used for a single dwelling house since 2004 and never used as a holiday let.

Cam: Fieldings, Woodend Lane, erection of extensions to dwelling; alterations to external finishes.

Dursley: 4 Rosebery Road, construction of new 4-bed dwelling and associated works.

Kingswood: Nind Farm, Nind Lane, notification for prior approval for a proposed change of use of agricultural building to a dwelling house (Class C3), and for associated operational development.

Stinchcombe: The Old School House, Echo Lane, reshape young beech tree at the front of the house fell a cherry tree next to the house and reduce the height of large wild cherry in Lonicera Hedge.

Uley: 51 The Street, reduce the height of beech tree located approximately 3 to 4 metres from the house from 8m to approximately 4m, ie hedge height.

Wotton-under-Edge: Renishaw PLC, Old Town, works to trees to include felling 3 young common lime trees and maple trees on raised bank above the highway, as per discussion with SDC tree officer. Trees to be removed as they are outgrowing the available space, interfering with BT and Power cables, and creating excessive shade to the works building behind, trees are to be replaced with a smaller more suitable species that will enhance the area such as Malus tschonoskii or Malus floribunda; School Cottage, Alderley, cut back large Irish yew to leave just the large central stem reduced to approximately 2m in height, coppice 3 hazels on the right boundary.

Aust: Manor Farm, Aust Road, sisharge of conditions 2 (protect wildlife), 3 (roofing and cladding details), 4 (drainage) and 5 (storage areas) attached to planning permission PT15/5091/F, conversion of existing barn to create two one-bedroom dwellings and associated works.

Chipping Sodbury: 40 High Street, installation of terrace, extractor flue and fencing to existing flat roof, and installation of two external fire doors to facilitate change of use from Bank (Class A1) to cafe/bar (Class A3) as defined in Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), display of internally illuminated projecting sign; 20 Couzens Close, demolition of existing garage and conservatory, installation of vehicular hardstanding, erection of single-storey rear extension and two-storey side and rear extension to provide additional living accommodation.

Cromhall: erection of one detached dwelling and associated works.

Falfield: Heneage Farm, Moorslade Lane, change of use and development of agricultural land to provide up to 85 dwellings with associated access, parking, hard/soft landscape works, public open space, and drainage, together with development of a 'Park and Share' facility for up to 100 cars and new community hub (Outline) with access.

Oldbury: Magnox Limited, Oldbury Site, Oldbury Naite, erection of Site Services Building (SSB) to house an electrical, control and instrumentation (E C and I) overlay system.

Wickwar: Croft Cottage, Horwood Lane, erection of three dwellings with associated works, parking and landscaping.

Winterbourne: 7 Hicks, Common Road, erection of two. semi detached dwellings, one detached dwelling and re-modelling of existing dwelling (outline) with access to be determined, all other matters reserved; Grange Farm, Old Gloucester Road, conversion of existing barn to form one dwelling with associated works; The Copse, Mill Road, Winterbourne Down, works to fell one ash tree and six sycamore trees.

Yate: 12 Birkdale, works to crown lift one Hornbeam tree to 6m, and crown reduce on property side by up to 3m; 12 North Walk, change of use from retail to amusement/adult gaming centre (Sui Generis) as defined in the Town and Country Planning (use classes) Order 1987 (as amended) to include alterations to shopfront.
