COULD Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be considering a move to our area after they tie the knot next year?

Rumours have circulated that the newly engaged couple could be looking to move to the West Country, with a mansion in the village of Luckington, on the border of South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, not far from the likes of Chipping Sodbury, Malmesbury and Cirencester.

The property it is believed they have in mind is the impressive £7.75million Luckington Court, only six miles from Prince Charles’ Highgrove Estate, where Harry spent most of his childhood.

The Prince has reportedly been seen scoping out the property in recent months along with a number of others across the Cotswolds.

“I'm not surprised he's moving here — he's in the local quite often,” one resident reportedly told the Mail Online. “You'd see his security men sitting outside and you'd know he'd be in there.”

In an area littered with luxury estates, the couple would not be far from familiar faces, with Harry’s cousin Zara Tindall and ex-rugby player husband Mike living in Minchinhampton, in a cottage at Gatcombe Park, the country estate owned by Princess Anne.
