YOUNGSTERS from a Thornbury preschool wowed the audience with their wonderful nativity play.
The group of nearly 20 members of First Step Preschool, based at Crossways Schools, put on their production of the traditional tale in the infant school hall last Friday.
They were not overawed by the occasion as they dressed in splendid costumes and sang some classic festive songs including Jingle Bells, Little Donkey, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Father Christmas he got stuck and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The audience, made of parents, pupils from Crossways and some invited guests from Beech House care home in Thornbury, gave a rapturous ovation at the end to show their appreciation for all the hard work put in.
