MANY schools in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire will be opening today after two days of snow and ice.
More than 50 schools in Gloucestershire closed on Monday due to snow, and yesterday, dozens of schools remained closed.
Today, just three schools in the county will stay closed: Sheepscombe Primary School in the Stroud district, and Soudley Primary School and St White's School in the Forest of Dean area.
13 other schools in the county will open slightly later to ensure pupils and staff get to school safely in the icy conditions.
Longborough C of E, Cold Aston C of E, and Swell C of E primary schools in the Cotswolds have confirmed that they will open at 10am today.
In South Gloucestershire, all schools will open.
