YATE Shopping Centre will close for the Christmas break at 4pm on Sunday, December 24 and re-open for business at 8am on Boxing Day, December 26.
Individual stores will be operating their own hours, details of which can be found on the Yate Shopping Centre website, but the main ones are:
Tesco Extra: opens 9am Boxing Day and closes 6pm. It then reverts to normal trading hours closing again for New Year’s Eve at 4pm and will be open New Year’s Day from 9am until 6pm.
Next at Yate Riverside: The opening times until December 22 are as usual, with late night opening till 8.30pm. There will be normal opening hours December 23 (9-7pm), Christmas Eve 9.30am - 3pm (9.30-10am browse only) and on Boxing Day the store will be open 6am - 6pm with normal trading hours resuming thereafter.
Cineworld at Yate Riverside: The cinema will be open as usual up to Sunday, December 24, showing two films - Pitch Perfect 3 and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It will re-open again on Boxing Day with a further five screenings - Ferdinand; Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle; Paddington 2; The Great Showman; and The Lego Ninjago Movie - Movies for Juniors.
