STANSHAWES Court, one of the oldest buildings in Yate, has had a bit of a revamp.
The new look premises were officially launched by IBF world featherweight champion, boxer Lee Selby, who did the honours and cut a yellow ribbon across the bar, marking it well and truly open for business.
The building was constructed in the 13th century by the Stanshawe family, who were lords there for more than three centuries.
Paul and Sue Davies, who have been running a pub restaurant in Stanshawes for six years, say they are delighted with the refurb.
