Car and van involved in crash near Yate this morning
A CAR and a van were involved in a crash on the A432 at the Nibley Lane junction near Yate this morning.
Police and ambulance services attended the scene.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: "We were called at 7.17am to a road traffic accident on Nibley Lane at the junction of Hope Road.
"One patient was treated for abdominal and leg injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital for further treatment."
Police closed the road for several hours, and reopened it at 11.25am.
