AS PART of the 50th anniversary year celebrations for Thornbury Musical Theatre Group, crowds will be entertained over the half term with their latest pantomime.

“Dick Whittington and his Cat” will take to the stage of the Armstrong Hall in Thornbury from Wednesday, February 14, to Saturday, February 17 – 7.30pm nightly, with 2.30pm matinee showings on the Friday and Saturday.

Dick Wittington and Tommy the Cat embark upon an adventure which takes them far from London and its streets paved with gold.

Dick finds romance and strives to make good by seeking his fortune. Can the good Fairy Bowbells and some friends bring about a happy ending, despite the evil antics of King Rat?

Tickets are £12.50 for adults, £11.50 for senior citizens and £5 for children. Discounts of 10 per cent are available for groups of 10 or more.
