PEOPLE are always ready to criticise others when things don’t go there way, and this is especially the case when it comes to politicians.

When it was announced that the Armstrong Hall Complex could be moving to Turnberrie’s Community Centre, many were up in arms over the prospect of losing yet another public facility.

Well it is safe to say that in this instance, our elected representatives, albeit at a very local level, have decided to take notice, following the lead of three quarters of those responding to the public consultation, calling for the hall to stay put.

But the decision has not yet been made and anyone in the community who has an opinion on the proposals should definitely take part in the next round of public opinion taking.

It is all well and good blurting out an opinion on social media for the world to see, but if that attitude is not reflected in the feedback presented to councillors, then what is the point?
