A ROAD was closed in Thornbury this lunchtime following a four-car collision.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all in attendance on Morton Way following the crash, by the junctions for Hackett Lane and Crossways Road, with the stretch closed off while debris was cleared from the road.
A police spokesman told the Gazette that one of the cars had pulled out of Hackett Lane into the path of a car travelling down Morton Way, the collision forced the car and one following into the path of another car on the other side of the road.
Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported following the incident, with paramedics treating those involved at the scene.
